Hi Friends,
This is my fourth song that I have posted so far in my “Lost In Your Arms of Love” podcast series. This week’s song release is timed rather well I think with the coming of Holy Week and Easter. The lyrics that I wrote speak to a dialog I have heard Jesus having with me for my entire life. The imagery touches on some prominent things from Jesus’ preaching and from his passion.
- Do you ever have doubts about your faith and belief in God?
- Have you ever found your faith to be like some of the seeds in Jesus’ parable either never germinating or getting choked off by the cares and pressures of this world?
I know I have. But I have also always heard the Lord calling me back to Him and asking me and encouraging me to believe. I think often of the parable Jesus told of the sower and wonder which one I am, which one I want to be:
“1That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9He who has ears, let him hear.” Matthew 13:1-9
Thus, thinking of these kinds of things I wrote this song.

This song is actually a reinvention of the song that I published under my Musing Mana Song Project, Do You Really Believe? This version has been overhauled significantly:
- Revised lyrics
- New jazz organ intro
- New lead guitar parts
- Added a guitar solo and drum solo
- Re-recorded all vocals
- Re-recorded all rhythm tracks.
In addition, I have a music video of the song too and I will post that via a separate blog posting. So, don’t touch that dial! By the way, if you enjoyed my music and what I do and you would like to help, please leave positive reviews on my web site, on iTunes, ReverbNation, FaceBook and/or MySpace.
Thanks for listening!
PS Don’t forget: God loves YOU and he wants the very best for you.
