I learn a little something new every day. Today I learned, from The Frosty.com and MySEOBlog.com, that by default, WordPress enables Rel=Nofollow on all comments. Ostensibly, this was to prevent spam. It appears, according to the conventional blogging wisdom, to also reduce commenting. So, since the level of commenting I have received has been close to nothing, I figured I don’t have much to lose if I change Nofollow to Dofollow. So as of now I am officially a DoFollow site.
Comment away!

Check up, I remodeled my I follow, and I am now running a more sophisticated plugin to run the “no follow” rule…
I Follow Update
The Frosty
It’s amazing how that one little tag can change how many comments or visitors you’ll get. I experienced a difference as well when i ran a money blog. I like blogs where I can read AND get something out of it. A BACKLINK! Why not?
And for your dofollowness, I will most likely be a regular visitor and commenter.
G’day!
Update: Jack Humphrey had a good article on his site where he talked about no-follow:
For Bloggers…
Turn off any freakin’ no follow plugins you have. Pagerank leaking is and always has been massively overblown. We all fell for the no follow crap when it came out and it damaged us all in the bargain.
“Whatever you’ve heard about the “dangers” of linking without attaching no follow to every single link is a lie, a scam, and should be ignored.”

Loved your insight!! For once someone got everything correct!! Would you mind if I put a blogroll link back to your post?
I’d be delighted. Link away!
Wish I could do follow all of my blogs but hosting them on blogspot.com or wordpress. Why can’t just they give it all.
