Fiddlefreak

I discovered an interesting folk music blog today called Fiddlefreak and they are a group after my own heart.  FF’s introduction states:

Fiddlefreak is a music blog dedicated to exposing good folk music–the music of the people.

As I stated in my intro about what this site is about:

You do not have to be on American Idol to use and enjoy the gifts that God gave you. Life is music and rhythm! If your heart is beating, then you have rhythm! I am not Hawaiian by blood, but I am Hawaiian at heart. I am into music that is all about aloha and mana. In Hawaiian it is kanikapila, in other cultures it is folk music…People’s music:

They have a great post of a video of Seattle’s own “The Tallboys” performing at Ballard’s Tractor Tavern.  Good foot stompin’ stuff.  You can find Fiddlefreak at:  http://fiddlefreak.com/

    Hi Stuart,

Oh brah…man do I need another trip to Maui! Especially after the no-show summer Seattle had. There are people using their fireplaces already around here! Thanks/mahalo for the comments.
