"Fooled" by Microsoft Again

For quite a long time I have used Mozilla’s Firefox web browser including for work on this web site.  I learned an important lesson yesterday:  I need to check my work with multiple browsers to see how it actually displays.  Out of curiosity, I fired up Internet Explorer and took a drive around my web site.  To my horror, I discovered that the Download Music page, my raison d’être, was not displaying my songs!  The entire table was not there.  So, I republished the page and table several times, using Firefox, went back to IE, nothing….went to Firefox…there it was.  Aggh!  In a final desperate attempt to salvage my remaining sanity, I logged into WordPress’s admin using IE and rebuilt the page there, hit the “publish” button….waited for the page to be saved….clicked on over to the download page….finally there it was.  Computers – gotta love ‘em.  Well, I have absolutely no idea how long that page has been blank to people visiting using IE as their browser.  But, it is fixed now.  Thanks Microsoft.  By the way, the original page also displayed correctly with Safari too.  So there.
