Global Translator is now working again.
The automatic upgrade feature in WordPress would not work for me so I had to uninstall and reinstall GT manually on the web server. This has been the most on again off again love affair. She promises to stay with me forever now. Time will tell. I hope it continues to work, because it is a great free resource for blogs and it can instantly make your blog accessible to millions of other people who you normally could not reach. A free traffic booster! If you want a copy of the latest version (1.0.9.2) of Global Translator, you can download a copy at: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/global-translator/ The plugin support forum is located here: http://wordpress.org/tags/global-translator
I have upgraded my Twitter feed to one that is a non-flash version that should be more firewall friendly and also contains clickable links. You might note that I am now Twittering Seattle’s daily weather report.
I have incorporated the Google XML Sitemaps plugin for WordPress by Arne Brachhold which automatically informs Google, MSN, Ask.com and Yahoo of sitemap changes to ensure search engine indexing. You can download your own copy of the Google XML sitemap plugin at: http://www.arnebrachhold.de/projects/wordpress-plugins/google-xml-sitemaps-generator/#P18DL
