While I was performing some WordPress maintenance on my site, I noticed somehow I had accidently deleted the Global Translator box. So, now not only is it back where it was used to living, but the software is upgraded to the latest version to capture all of the latest bug fixes and also the WordPress version 2.6 functionality. For now, I have Google Translation Services running as the translation engine for global translator, but since it has been a bit unreliable in the past, please let me know if you find that it is not working or otherwise causing trouble. I am also going to let WP 2.6 simmer a while longer before I upgrade to that though. It’ summer and there are too many other things to to.

Page cannot be translate to, I got this message:
“This page has not been translated yet.
The translation process could take a while: please come back later.”
What language were you trying? For some reason the Google translation service is frustratingly unreliable. I changed it back again to Yahoo’s Bablefish and it seems to work now, only Yahoo does not offer as many languages as Google.
