I am starting a new podcast series today called, “Lost In Your Arms Of Love”. You can grab the RSS for this and put it in your feedreader. Eventually, once Apple does whatever it is that they do with newly submitted feeds, it should show up in the podcasts section of iTunes. My sales blurb for this podcast series is:
Free Creative Commons Music: “Lost In Your Arms Of Love”, is a music project in which Chris Hartzog is producing studio versions of the “The Musing Mana Song Project” songs and releasing them for free as a Podcast. Afterward, Chris will offer all of these songs on CD format at his online store and from iTunes and other digital distributors.
Recording has some very tedious aspects to it….the songwriting and playing part is “fun”, but the editing and mixing and editing and mixing over and over again is hard work.
I guess I should feel good…it only took me about 8 takes to get the vocals right for Wild Man From Tenessee (coming in a future podcast) but I think I heard Elvis took something like 28 takes for one of his songs….does anybody know which one? Hound Dog? Oh well, it doesn’t matter.
And without further adieu, here is the first song release under this project….no, sorry to disappoint you, but it’s not yet, “Lost In Your Arms Of Love” mainly because I am releasing these songs in the track order I plan to put them on the disk….for no special reason other than I am kind of anal retentive and it seemed like the thing to do….creative life is a challenge for a right brain engineer by day and left brain musician at night…but I make do. Oops, that was a bit of dieu….(doo?). OK, here you go, the 2010 edition of Irish Rockerwoman.
