This month’s song is ready: Lost In Your Arms of Love
It was hard for me to decide what this song was really truly about: Godly love or romantic love. I guess it could go either way depending on one’s mood at the time.
My first idea for this song was, believe it or not, from Reader’s Digest. I saw a RD laying around one day with an article title on the front cover that said, “Lost in a Moment of Time” and I thought, “Gee that phrase is kinda catchy…at least to me. There’s gotta be some kind of a song in there.
At first I was calling this, “Lost in a Moment of Love”, but after a while I realized that was too wordy and I just didn’t like it. I don’t think it was physical and visceral enough for me. So, now it is officially, “Lost in Your Arms of Love”. It’s a simple song really…about screwing up and being forgiven, about dreaming and flying and achieving dreams.
Anyway, the basic song is done, but I might update the mp3 over time if play around with the mixdown and get a result that I like better. I tried a version using Cakewalk’s “Boost11″ plugin, but it only made is sound swirly and weird…not exactly what I hand in mind. This version is pretty much the aux natural version which I like a better. Time will tell.
Well, here is this month’s song: “Lost In Your Arms Of Love“
Love,
Chris
