These are my Favorite Links for January 13th:
- The Official Carol Kaye Web Site – One of the greatest bass players of all time! Carol was the number 1 on call bassist with over 10,000 sessions. There are tons of songs we have all listened to with Carol playing the bass line. Carol is a great educator too and goes out of her way to help aspiring musicians.
- Welcome to Weather Underground : Weather Underground – This is one of the most fun weather site's I have found. No frills, no nonsense….it just gives me the weather info that I want.
- Apple – What can I say about this site and company? I love Apple and their products (that's coming from somebody who lives in Microsoft's back yard). Of course Microsoft changed the computing world working with an incredibly weak architecture and that's great…but Apple's stuff is just slick, easy to use and appeals to the artist in me. My next goal is to save for a new MacBook Pro. The new iMac is quite cool, but I would rather have the laptop portability.
