We spent Saturday evening enjoying Michael Powers and his band scooping out some great soul in celebration of the release of Michael’s newest CD, “Soul School”. The band managed to out-run the rain showers Saturday and they even brought out the sun at one point with “New Jack Jazz”. Michael is an incredible musical [...] I have been a bit lax in posting the many videos that have been made of the Woodinville Concert Band concerts. So here are a few. The first two are from our spring concert in May and you can see me sitting it the back row on the far left playing my Fender Jazz [...] Hear ye, hear ye: Woodinville Concert Band’s Spring Concert will be this Sunday, May 17th at 2:00 at the Redmond Performing Arts Center. Yes, I know it sounds kind of ironic that Woodinville’s band is playing in Redmond…but I guess you could say we are “on tour”, or maybe Redmond is Woodinville’s sister city?
